Wicked Crafts: Terrific Totes Craft Party Package

I should have blogged about this a long time ago.  If you may remember, I started this small biz of providing craft booths in parties and events.  I wrote about it here.  My initial package offering is an embellish-your-own-tote-bag package.

This blank slate welcomes endless creative possibilities.

 The package is good for 30 kids and includes blank canvas tote bags and a plethora of collage and embellishment materials.

 The package allows everyone to be crafty!  And kids get to bring home their own creation!

The One About the Personalized Stamped Giftwrappers

Met up with some friends last Monday at Pino in Teacher's Village.  I had prepared gifts for them - post-holiday/"great-to-see-you-again" gifts - but, at the very last minute, I realized I had forgotten to buy giftwrapping supplies.  I was left with some kraft paper from last Christmas when little miss crafty me had an idea.  I whipped out my wooden alphabet stamps and - tada! - personalized giftwrappers!
 

Super easy.

Super inexpensive.

Super crafty!

Wednesday Nugget

 

With that, have I got a lot on my plate this year.  I want to take up new crafts like knitting and stamp-printing.  I'm still practicing my calligraphy using a flexible nib (I haven't blogged about that!  Bad blogger!).  I have new products lined up for my TPT store (but when to make them???) and new craft packages for Wicked Crafts (again, when to make them???).  There are so many books that I want to read but my self-imposed book-buying ban has not been lifted.  That's okay, though.  I'm reading Every Day by David Levithan now and I'm immensely enjoying it.  I just finished John Green's The Fault in Our Stars and I cried buckets as it made me recall my baby brother's battle with cancer.  But I don't want to cry right now so after Every Day, I'll find someone who can buy me Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore. :)

The One About My New Craft Loot for 2013

New year, new craft loot!  I have not visited Divisoria since I was preparing for my wedding and that has been more than year.  As I walked the dingy, hot streets to buy supplies for some crafts that I'll be making for a friend's wedding, it dawned on me why I used to love it there.  The streets and pasilios are full of crafty finds!

 These scrapbook papers in the yummiest designs were selling for P50/dozen.

 

 These wooden alphabet stamps were selling for only P100 a pop!  I couldn't resist so I bought all kinds!

 I was dubious with this telephone stamp the first time I saw it...

 ...but I grabbed it (P60!!!) after I learned it could make this.  Don't ask me the connection between a phone and a sewing machine.

 I bought a hundred of these wooden spools only because they were too pretty. :)

 

I know I'll someday find use for these wooden beads.

 

 I can just stare their prettiness all day. :)

The One When I Became a Bible Geek

Happy New Year!  Yours truly had been on vacation mode for the holidays; hence, the neglected blog! :)  Anyhoo, for my first post for 2013, I thought of sharing something that's in the vein of all these New-Year-resolutions vibe.  Just to make crystal clear that when one sets his/her mind on a goal, coupled with discipline and determination, he/she will be able to cross it off the bucket list.

This is my copy of the Holy Bible.  I've had it since I was in Grade 3.

 It's super tattered but I've kept it all these years.

It has markings of my favorite lines.

To kick off another year of setting goals and reaching them one at a time, allow me to share something I have accomplished in 2012.

I have read the Holy Bible.  From cover to cover.
