Weekend Tidbits: Mezza Norte

After three weekends of rainy day blues, the sun finally lent its rays last weekend allowing Hon-some and I (with both of our families in tow) to finally visit Mezza Norte at the Ayala TechnoHub.  Mezza Norte is spearheaded by the same organizers of Mercato Centrale and Midnight Mercato at the Fort.

It was a good thing we came pretty early.  The tables at the eating area were being occupied real fast and lines have started to form at certain food booths.

Choosing what to eat at Mezza Norte can be overwhelming, what with the varied options.  There were lots of grilled stuff, burgers, sausages, chicken, shabu-shabu hotpot, and desserts to choose from.  Upon my dad's recommendation, I tried Dadi's Berd...

This is a really, really, really good grilled chicken.  Upon ordering, I was asked if I wanted my bird to be angry which meant did I want my chicken to be spicy.  I loved how the spiciness was remarkably infused into the chicken.

I noticed some people carrying egg cartons with interesting munchies placed in them.  So I sniffed around and found Tacling's...

Mini taco cups in egg cartons.

Tacling's offers beef taco cups...

...And a tuna and mushroom mix in malunggay taco cups!

I knew I had to leave room for dessert and it was wise of me to have done so...

Merry Moo's Sea Salt Caramel just hit the spot!

Hon-some and I can't wait to go back to try the other gustatory delights!  The weekend that was...and what a weekend it was!
